Desa Wisata (tourism village) was acknowledged win the hearts of the travelers to visit. It can be seen from the spirit of the villages that have the potential to build a tourist village. Apparently in addition to the tourist village which is far from the bustle of the city, the village located in the town center were also potentially, it called Urban Tourism or Kampung Wisata.
One of the well-known tourist village in Jogja is Kampung Wisata Dipowinatan. This urban tourism increasing the potential and expanding its wings, It was declared in 2006 by the Governor of Central Java. Chaired by Mr. Sigit, the location is near Pura Wisata Jogja. From the first time this urban tourism had a problem with people who bring different visions and missions. However, there is always a solution to a problem, to solve this problem then they build Association Dipowinatan to make the same perception of the society.
If most of the rural tourism potential of presenting nature, so Dipowinatan present the daily activities of the society, especially the life cycle of the many traditions of Javanese society. Most special events are held Merti Golong gilig every August to unite the community. In this activity and continued with culture festival.
Besides the above the most interesting is the House Dipowinatan Republic. Czech house is an information center on the Czech Republic. Starting from a MoU with Czech Ambassador to Republic on the house, where Dipowinatan is likened to a house for the residents of the Czech Republic is being traveled in Jogja.
The motto of Sapta Pesona (seven Enchantment) + Gerak Rumangsa (careness) Dipowinatan citizens deserve thumbs up. Managerial determination market segments, focusing on its potential then manage the conditions. Key factors in addition to the potential to develop is a volume to examine the problem. Another motto is the satisfaction of travelers, they always provide the best for the visitors.
We, the students of the Polytechnic API Yogyakarta, from Tourism Department was happy given opportunity for discussion with the manager of Dipowinatan and meet Mr. Sigit. Hopefully we get the knowledge that could be useful for us.
